2002-2004-Mike Played U17 and U18 with the USA National Team Development Program winning a silver medal with Team USA at the 2004 U18 World Championships in Minsk, Belarus.
2004-2008- Mike played 4 years at Boston College winning 1 Regular Season Title, 3 Hockey East Championships and 1 Beanpot Championship. While at BC, Mike appeared in 3 consecutive Frozen Four Finals and in 2008 Captained the Eagles to a 2008 National Championship.
2008-2013- After Boston College, Mike signed his first professional contract with the Chicago Blackhawks, playing two years with their top affiliate The Rockford Icehogs of the American Hockey League. Mike played over 300 games in the AHL with The Rockford Icehogs, Toronto Marlies, The Cleveland Monsters and Worcester Sharks.
2013-2016- After 5 years in North America, Mike signed his first Professional European Contract with the Iserlohn Roosters in the top German Hockey League, The DEL. After one season with the Roosters, Mike finished up his professional career spending two years with Vaasan Sport of the top Finnish League, SM-LIIGA. While playing in Finland, Mike was able to represent Team USA one more time in the 2015 Deutschland Cup in Augsburg, Germany.
