Welcome to the Empire Snipers Hockey website! Here you will be able to find updates for our ice and roller programs as well as some really cool Snipers history. We like to call our organization a family as for 29 years that is what it has been to many of us. Starting back in 1996, the Empire Snipers organization was started and founded by Tim McManus and the Snipers quickly become the leader in the sport of roller hockey, first locally and very quickly at a National level. In 1996 we were approached by Mission Hockey and Labeda Wheels to represent their brands and we have been them both ever since.
Too many to count, our organization has won numerous National championships. In 2006, we stopped running the youth portion of our group fielding just a Pro and some adult teams since. We are all very excited to get back to where things started for us, with the kids.
In 2021, coach Derek Kern wanted to bring things to a whole new level and get the Snipers name on the ice. With an incredible hockey background (both playing and behind the bench), Derek was the perfect guy for this project. Since then, our Snipers Spring Ice Program has turned a lot of heads and won many tournaments in our short existence.
Together we bring many years of playing and coaching experience. We are looking forward to getting back to the grass roots and helping to raise future super stars on the ice and wheels!
