As a former Professional hockey player (2017-2022), Frank brings years of experience having briefly been an Assistant Coach in 2020 and 2021 on Coach Marcou’s staff with the NCDC team. He also has 12 Years’ coaching experience as an off-ice trainer and on-ice skills development coach with Jack Greig’s Elite Attack hockey program, Superior Ice Rink’s Summer camp, as well as many others.
Prior to turning pro, DiChiara played for the Dubuque Fighting Saints in the USHL for now Boston Bruins Head Coach Jim Montgomery. In the 2012-2013 season, DiChiara totaled 30 goals and 30 assists in 64 games, as well as scoring 4 goals and 8 assists in the Clark Cup playoffs, including the Clark Cup clinching OT game winner in game 3 of the finals, crowning the Saints the USHL’s champion.
DiChiara then went on to play 4 seasons at Yale University (2013-2017) where they won 2 ivy league Championships. In his sophomore year he was the youngest ever to win the MALCOLM G. CHACE, AWARD (1958). Presented by the Yale Hockey Association, to the member of the team who, through sportsmanship, team spirit, and ability, has best served the finest tradition of Yale hockey. In his Senior season he was awarded the team’s best Defensive Forward awaard. In 127 collegiate games, DiChiara recorded 72 points (30g) and 71 penalty minutes.
